I am so bad at these, but here goes. I WAS TAGGED!

Generally I avoid these and just keep going, but this time I choose to answer.

1. Where did your LJ handle come from?
It is an Arabic word. It is suppsoed to mean The Best, but it was a tongue in check thing I used to say to friends years ago. My handle should have been "Meesh Meesh" as it was my nickname in middle school. Also Arabic it means Apricot or Peach.
Yes, my nickname was Peaches.

2. How do you style your hair?
Many ways. Currently my hair is too long and I cling to the ever popular Ponytail.

3. What is making you happy right now?
The fact my husband just discovered one of the cats had accidentally locked himself in one of the Vet carriers! You would think the world was ending.

4. What are you currently reading?
Actually several books. A Charlaine Harris mystery http://www.charlaineharris.com/bibliography/bibliog-lily.html, the new Gail Dayton http://www.gaildayton.com/mybooks.htm, and an older romance that catches my attention every few years. Plus I am listening to 3 different books on audio. Not at the same time. ;)

5. Do you need music to study/write?
Yes! Generally Classical for study and a mix for writing. I create playlists for my projects.

7. What was your first car?
A mustang convertable.


8. Do you have a crush at the moment?
A character I am writing about.

9. What is your favorite movie (that doesn't involve your idol)?
A movie called Nudo di Donna. Very funny! And set in Venice.

13. What's your favorite food?
Italian garlic and vinegar pasta - at least right currently.

14. Which languages do you wish you spoke?
I have several but a lot are languages I wish I still spoke.
I would love to really be comfortable in Spanish. I understand most, however there are issues since I spoke Italian. Kitchen for example is SO not the same. ;)

15. What is your biggest pet peeve?
Entitlement!

16. Do you have birthmark?
Yes. On my right cheek bone.

17. Who was your childhood idol?
Alexander Dumas. This one will freak you out, but I was a military brat and we had TV shows that were very old and still playing in the far off lands -
Morgan Freeman!


18. Where would you like your next holiday to be?
The big one would be Europe though Japan is right there as well.
A small one is Disney with my fave chicks.
We could do spas things and Disney!


19. What do you do to fall asleep?
We have a white noise machine. It helps. Exercise!

20. Tell me something you love about the person who tagged you.
She has a great spirit, huge drive, and keeps going to overcome all obstacles.
She has a long term goal and she will get there.
That impresses me greatly!
